Unifying the Collection of Taxes, Custom Duties and Insurance Contributions  (9.6.2011)

Project UNITAS aiming at unifying the collection of taxes, custom duties and insurance contributions is making a progress. The Government of the Slovak Republic has passed an amendment to three laws - the Law on Financial Administration, the Amendment to the Law on State Administration Bodies in the Field of Tax, Duties and Custom services, and the Amnedment to the Law on Tax Administration.

The Labour Code Amendment   (30.4.2011)

A draft of the amendment of the Labour Code addresses an increasing number of requests and comments of employers as well as councils of employers. The amendment deals with the simplified approach to issue of  commencement and termination of labour-law relations, strenghtens the status of employer councils, and prepares other changes aimed at improvement of the labour market.
